The Manifesto as a Tool
The diploma thesis “reach essential dilemma” is about manifestos. The historical avant-garde of the early 20th century was a time of manifestos. We’ve reviewed some of this avant-garde manifestos. The manifesto is a tool. It’s function and making plays an important role. The medium can be used to communicate the authors intention in an direct way.
The manifesto needs an absolute zero point. It’s a medium against problems. So - especially nowadays - manifestos are unavoidable! It’s a possibility, a connection, a document to announce someone’s intention.
Manifestos are the fundament for mini-manifestos. Mini-manifestos are a tool for simplifying and understanding avant-garde manifestos. Furthermore it’s a kind of “code” to “solve” a dilemma. Mini-manifestos have to be collected and combined. You have to use them, to create own manifestos. It’s a tool which everyone can use in his own way.
